Galaxy Djembe Drum

After many hours of research by the LP design team, the new Giovanni Djembe head was increased by an inch-and-a-half. A 14" head diameter proved to be the ideal size that projects all the sonic features desired in a djembe, including crisp slaps, dynamic high harmonics, and, of course, the essential bass frequencies that kick us into sub-low territory.

As with the original Giovanni Series 12.5" Galaxy Djembe, the new 14" diameter model incorporates the best of all worlds: vividly grained North American ash shell with perfected contour, luxurious high gloss lacquer finish, select goat skin heads, LP Comfort Curve Rims, quick/easy mechanical tuning, and battleship grade construction.

14" Galaxy djembe comes with a strap so you can play it standing or sitting, or mounted to a conga stand with the LP djembe mount. And, of course, it wouldn't be complete without LP's "road kit" containing tuning wrench and lug lube.

Stunning looks combine with a larger girth to create an eruption of tone that calls from the New World all the way back to the Old. The LP Giovanni Galaxy Djembe, now in 14" head diameter-truly defining the outer limits of the djembe!
