LP makes quality, mechanically tuned djembes for every playing level.  LP has three series for their djembes, Aspire Djembes; Aspire Accent Djembes & LP Djembes. 

Aspire Series Djembes are designed for entry level playesrs.  Their slim bodies make them easy to sit and hold. 

Aspire Accent Series Djembes are also excellent for entry level players and better for adults than the solid color Aspire sound good enough for advanced players too.  They have a bowl shaped top, which is similar to LP's pro djembes.  They also have a curved rim, similar to the pro djembes.  The curved rims is easy on the hands and makes playing easier.

LP Series Djembes are great for intermediate, experienced & professional players.  They are a little heavier than the other djembes; have the best rim, a beautiful shape and the highest quality hardware & shells, which makes playing easier & more fun.  The LP Djembe and 12 & 14" Galaxy Djembe Drums are the top of the line mechanically tuned djembes.
