LP Generation III Bongo Drums

Features 9" hembra (female/large) head instead of the more traditional 8 5/8"

The 9" head produces additional bottom end tones and greater volume than 8 5/8" heads

Macho (male/small) head produces great pops and classic wood-bongo tones

Rims: traditional, Cuban-style, rims (less bulky and lighter in weight than Comfort Curve II rims)

Tuning lugs: 5/16" diameter; lugs are hugging the shell making the bongo more comfortable for holding and playing

Bottom: Cuban style

Heads: hand picked, natural rawhide that has been specially treated to provide a softer touch and uniform color

Crafted from kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak

Specially designed steel backing plate for extreme durability

Color: natural wood finish
