Candido Congas are modeled after the LP Original Congas
Candido congas feature the classic girth, which remains unaltered since the inception of the LP Original congas in the sixties.
The Candido shell distinguishes itself by having a shimmering white fiberglass shell; and a special Candido faceplate and drumhead
28" tall congas - ideal height for seated players
Great low and mid range - extra wide bottom enhances the drum’s low and mid range tones; wide bottom also gives increases stability to the drum
The heads are hand selected, natural rawhide
LP fiberglass shells have a steel ring embedded at the bearing (top) edge of the drum shell for added strength and stability
