LP Salsa Conga

LP Salsa Model Congas stand 28" tall and are designed to accommodate congueros who prefer to play seated. The shell contour is similar to that of LP Classic Model Congas, but with a slightly wider bottom. This wider bottom helps to keep the drum stable, even during the most aggressive play, and adds to the drum's low and mid range tones.

They are constructed of specially selected, kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak, and are topped with hand picked rawhide heads. As with other LP congas, these feature LP Comfort Curve® II Rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, and reinforced LP Heart® Side Plates, each secured with a backing plate. A layer of fiberglass is added to the inside upper portion of the shell, near the side plates, to provide additional strength.

LP Salsa Model Congas are available in a variety of wood finishes. They also come complete with LP ProCare Integrated Shell Protectors that prevent the side plate hardware from marking or damaging adjacent drums.
