Description: The Paoli Mejias (PM) tumba is a premium LP tumba. It does sound & play amazingly well. It has a great musical response and projection. The tumba is rich & warm. The Asian oak produces a distinct timbre and it is different from LP's other wood congas & tumbas, such as the siam oak Classics, North American ash Giovanni Galaxies or Giovanni Palladiums or mango Pedrito Martinez or Durian Classic tumbas and so on. The Asian oak shells brings out the best of slaps. Weight-wise the Mejias tumba is clearly heavier than Pedrito Martinez slightly heavier than the LP Classic tumba.
Features the best hardware in the industry! The PMJ tumba comes with LP's CCII Z rim with their thickest lugs and LP Heart side plates.
